They look nice.

I always wondered though if it was possible to just use the wheels you had in the beginning and just powdercoat them or paint them in order to get the 35th anniversary wheel look?

My guess is they aren't exactly the same so it wouldn't look as good. I could be wrong though.

You can do that. I am doing that with my old wheels and putting drag radials them. that way everything matches at the track. The center caps are the hard part. The factory cnter caps are not plastic, they are wrapped in aluminum.
