Question Best Tire for you high horsepower street racers..

For all you making 600rwhp+ and street race from a dig and leave good... Whats the tire to run, tried 275/60/15 mt drag radials and spins pretty decent. I have qa1's all around, and thats setup good and good tire pressure. Working with a 15x8 prostar also..

Re: Best Tire for you high horsepower street racers..

You said "MT drag radials" I assume you're referring to the "ET Street" model? Those are pretty popular, and with good reason. My FIL uses those on his 600+hp supercharged big block car. They do need to be warmed up if you really want them to hook, though. If you want something that hooks cold with that much power, I don't know if you have a good option. You could try going wider….
