2 washers for Weld Draglites?

Alright hopefully this doesn't get me laughed at too badly. I have weld draglites i'm trying to put on my 96 SS. I got extended length wheel studs (3.25" length) and I'm having a problem getting the lug to seat the washer all the way down to the face of the wheel. Seems that the studs are bottoming out in the end of the closed lug nut. My question is, can I double up the washers to get them snug? All feedback is greatly appreciated.

Why did you get closed end lugs? NHRA requires open ends so that tech can verify you have the correct thread engagement length.

Well I'm not planning on racing the car at the track. I went ahead and ordered some open end lugs though.
