1996 Camaro Widest Wheels/Tires
Hey Everyone, New to the site. I have a beautiful 1996 Camaro that was in storage for ten years and I'm starting a new project this winter in Pittsburgh. It's a loaded RS with a 6 and is like new but am looking at a 500hp 383 stoker kit motor (would rather go TPI) but the cost seems double. Anyway and one step at a time, I see some pretty wide wheel and tire packages being fit on these without any mods and would appreciate anyone's comments on your previous findings. Don't like 20's and have seen some 18/17" packages and have attached the look I'm trying to achieve! Thanks guys!

This forum is where the Administrators post their weekly "podcast". It isn't the place to post technical questions. I'll copy this post to the "Wheels and Tires" forum. There is actually a "sticky" on that forum discussing various tire setups. In particular there is a post detailing the installation of 11.0" wide wheels in the back (minor mod MAY be required), and 9.5" wide wheel in the front (no mods required)
This is my 17x9.5" front/17x11.0" rear setup:
