I thought the White TA with the blue "tear away" paintjob revealing blue underneath was a good job. Also liked the skull fade on the SS hood of another silver car.

I thought there would be more firehawks than there was. I know there is a lot more in the area and typically Firehawk owners read forums and would know about the event.

Great show nonetheless. I enjoyed it!

Thumbs up

This was the first time I saw the 10th Anniversary Firehawk in person and that just looks plain badass!!! A lot better than in pictures I've seen.

I liked that white T/A, too.

I was amazed at the number of F-bodies in one place. Even as we were leaving we were surrounded by nothing but Camaros. It felt like a little piece of heaven.

Man, I dont think I saw ANYONE leave that place without a red face. It was brutal. But fun! I was looking out for cars that I knew, but didnt know any names/faces being a bit farther from the DFW area than the rest. But still had a good time. Wish problems wouldnt have kept me from bringin my car.

I was the red 96 Z. I was very slow, but consistently slow.

I suspect there was a lot people there that didn't know how to drive.

I was the quickest of the last 6 .. Had dialed in @ a 12.30. Had 10 spoke SS wheels up front and chrome 16" 5 stars in da back. I think we even talked for a bit. I commented on how I kept the bottle cracked just in case I missed a gear - to help me in catching up ...

And yea.. A *LOT* of those people were newbies. Most everyone took off at least a second before I did - and I'd see them leave on the green. LOL... My best reaction time during the bracket racing was a .503 - not too bad. <- I thought I redlit! Darn SPEC sold hubbed clutch is grabby!

It WAS an awesome day, soooo many f-bodies to drool over. It was so hot though I left a little after 1 when the time trials were over.

Shawn... did you say the white camaro w/ the black stripes won? If so, I know that guy and that's really cool cause he said his car was running like crap.

Congrats to everyone that did good in the eliminations.

Yea.. It had draglites on it. Was an A4 as well.. He was dialed in @ a 13.31 when I ran him.

There were quite a few white LT1's w/ black stripes out there though.

Cool

Shawn,
Good seeing you again. Your car was running well. Hopefully I'll have mine done soon. I'm going through withdrawals after seeing all of the f-bodies up there.
