Motor. Build by Mike Bernard in Axtell. Same builder who built Tony Shepherds motor (http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/member.php?u=7808) Built for turbo setup which is not available. est 1000 miles tuning and cruising never seen dyno or track.
383 LT1 short block $2600
-1/2 filled block. clearanced for 396. all rough edges grinded down
-compstar crank and rods JE -33cc dished pistons.
-decked and O-ringed
-8.4:1 compression with .050 copper head gaskets
-oliver billet main caps (all 5, middle three splayed four bolt)
-Melling high volume oil pump
-larger moroso oil pan
-Mild turbo cam. Cannot remember specs...230ish dur and .560 ish lift 114 LS? factory hydraulic lifters.
All parts are located in Waco Texas. Can work out arrangements for delivery within 100ish miles for parts. If shipping is required thats extra.
