You guys need to look on the bright

side. It's better you find out these "little" relationship problems now then when life gets more complicated.

For example, married for 12 years, dated her for 8 years before that, 2 boys under 6 years old, a house 2 college funds and.... oh yea the car. That hobby of mine is her worst part of everything.

At times we BOTH would rather be separate, but sometimes it's the kids that keep us together.

Good luck!

and all this time i thought females were the only ones that could feel any sort of remorse/hurt

all of your stories sound familiar. I think we've all had bad breakups. My ex fiance, of 2 years, and i broke up right before he left for Iraq when I found out that he had cheated on me. He now realizes what he had and calls me over 4 times a week, from Iraq, hoping that I'll forgive him...

psssssh I've got my car now...who will NEVER cheat on me: metal:

Not sure why, but car nuts always seem to have a tougher time with relationships. sometimes it just seems like a fight waiting to happen. I guess cause we put so much time and money into them.

Another way to look on the bright side is to think of all the $$ you saved. Figure on at least $100 is flowers/presents for a gf...maybe more for a wife. That's money that you now have to put into your ride.

Last year was the worst.
Lost the killer job, the killer wife left me for another dude, and my engine died......

I feel for ALL of you. Definately a motorsports woman like obseSSed is needed in our situations.

I found a BETTER job, dumped 10k in my car (including a balanced, blueprinted 383 w/long tubes) and started the road racing season.

Do I think of the ex? Sure. Do I miss her? Nah, I am MUCH better off w/o her. You will find the same. It sucks at first, but it gets MUCH better.

Remember, it is not what happens to you, it is what you do about it.......

Good luck and love on your cars!
