Mechanically, the car runs great. Only things that I know of are a 'hum' from the right rear of the car. Possible bearing or brake issue, but it's only recently been audible so I haven't checked into it yet...may just need to be lubed. One of the lugs on the right front was stripped and still needs to be replaced. I have the new lug, just haven't replaced it yet. Front brakes were done about 6 mos ago with new pads/rotors.

Cosmetically, the car has its share of little dings. None of it is noticeable from about 5 feet away. It has green paint “chameleon” that changes a little depending on the light. This is FACTORY paint. Also note that it is a hardtop car.

Interior I would say is nice although the carpet could use a good shampooing. The ashtray lid is broken too (common). Overall, its pretty average I'd say.

If price is a concern, I DO still have the stock wheels/tires that I can put back on the car. I would drop the price of the car approx $500 as a result.

I’ve had lots of offers for trades. At this time, I can only consider partial trades. If you think your car is worth more than approximately $4k, then I’m not really interested. The best trade would be for a “beater” economy car or pickup.

All photos I have of the ’98 can be found here: Pictures!

There are some non-related photos also in that directory, just ignore those.

It is probably on the time slip - although I don't have it with me. I'll try to look for it when I get home in a couple days.

to be completely honest, I dont recall. I've never run it at an 8th mile track, so I have always looked at the 1/4 times.

when I ran it, it had nearly bad stock tires on it...so the 60ft was definitely in the 2.x range...so its possible that if it was above a 9 in the 1/8th, it wouldn't necessarily be with some decent tires/decent track.

Send an email to Matt ( maccardi@satx.rr.com ) and ask him who was looking. I deleted the email.
