i just moved back into the area after being gone for 4 years and am wondering where the cruise spots/car shows are?

theres the suds in greenwood, indiana. we get about 65-70 cars. I go almost every saterday with my camaro

i really have no idea,last night there was a group at the hooters, tonight {saturday} the parking lot will probably have 300 cars in it.

ill be there in a polo green LT1 formula t top.

so last night i was bored and having been to an area where there was "supposed" to be a gathering, i found out it is only on certain weekends... so i drove back to my house, and after talking with the family for a while and realizing i didnt want to sit at home bored i went twords valparaiso.... well i stopped for gas and saw a guy with a nice 69 Pontiac Lemans, and asked him if there were any car hangouts, he said that the new Target just off of 49 has one every friday night.... i got over there around 830 pm and there were still like 100-150 cars out there....

now i know where i'll be on friday nights..

FWIW he said they also meet on wednesday nights on the crown point square, and on thursday nights over by the hospital on 51 in hobart... and saturday is the miami subs (or what used to be) over on 45th street in highland...

just some info for anyone in nw indiana looking for cruise spots

as for tonight, i might hit up the hooters, but most likely ill go to the one on 45th ave

did you drive by the cruise spot at 45th and indianpolis? i thought i saw a green T-top formula.... while i was there these are the cars i saw

i drove by,never stopped,i picked up a job installing a 350 into a caprice on 22's,not my cup of tea,but its paying well.

anywho,usually friday and saturday nights...those who go too what used to be miami subs,are the trailered race cars who are setting up street races. every single time ive stopped in there,the cops have ran people out,so i stay away from it.

and like i said,the 45th spot in highland is 99% dead,the hooters is the new spot...when i drove by around 9,there were about 150-200 cars,i had friends calling me all night saturday telling me there were 500+ cars and the parking lot was FULL. if ya want,pm some info to me,and id be more then happy to meet up with ya and we could cruise in,it kinda helps to know someone,as some of the people there are *******s.

yeah that works...i thought about stopping by the hooters on my way back from the 45th show, but i couldnt find it.. i must have passed it when i turned onto 30. i thought it was on the northwest corner of 30&41?

anyway, i probably won't be out there this week as my dad, sister and i are going to visit my older sister in wisconsin....

i just got done cleaning out the garage at my dads house where imoved back to a few weeks ago, and now have my car in the garage
