Hello All,
Seen Iowa forums on other sites but not this one so let's start one. Please share kill stories, helpful facts,events, fastest car anything. Let's just see where it goes. I'm not only new to the forum but still new to the state and I'm wanting to see what's out there for us fbody guys and gals. So speak up and let's get this Iowa Z28Camaro community together.Looking forward to hearing from you!

I'll come keep ya company! I am in West Des Moines and driving a black 97 Z28. Been looking for people around the area that are willing to get together and have meets and what not but haven't found any luck so far!

Looks like we need to setup a get together with all the "known" Des Moines Camaro/Firebird/TransAm drivers and have a cruise or something. I really don't know many people around Des Moines (just moved here about a year ago) so wouldn't mind getting to know some people who are actually into cars.

I believe it was 2009, but could be 2008. I took home first place for the daily drivers class.
I believe it was the non-affiliated daily drivers class because i technically wasn't a part of the Mid Iowa Camaro club. I just drove down with them.

Hmm not seeing my car in there. I'll have to look at my plaque thing and see what year it says. I have a black '97 Z28 with black and white checkered leather interior. I do remember seeing a large number of those cars at the one I went to though.
Looking through i believe i was back and to the right of the car in picture 61. He is from the Mid Iowa group and trailered it down.
Actually mine is the car to the left of the car in picture 87. You can barely see my checkered seats.
I thought that layout of cars looked very familiar haha!

His GMMG car is gorgeous, I'm surprised he had it out there this year with the rain we got.
