We finally got things up and running. We have openings for pulls, tuning and hourly rental.
Just incase you guys didnt know we went a different route and went with a Mustang Dyno. More and more people are realizing that these are the dynos to go with. A regular Dynojet is just a intertia dyno, meaning its really just a free spinning dyno and on any other Inertia Dyno, the car is tuned to the Dyno were as a mustang the Dyno is tuned to the car. We have what is called a eddie current or a "Load Dyno" basically what it is, is a giant magent that puts certian load on that you tell too. We have to know the cars weight, which we do with our digital scales and then look up what the wind drag number. Basically this number is the wind drag at or above 50 mph.
On Inertia This will give you real road simulation, which makes it 10 times better for tuning.
Everyone knows that you will never have no resistance like inertia only dynos when your at the track. Also with the weight factor is another easy way put, on a inertia dyno, say your rollers have a 3700 pound rating, well what happens if your car weighs in at 3000 pounds? It basically means you are towing a 700 pound trailer behind you. Another cool example of how it works is say you have a truck that you might not know if it can handle a trailer with a car in it or some sort. We can put the truck on the dyno and if we know what the weight of the trailer and car is simulate that on the dyno and factor in incline or decline into that also.
We can also go through a drive cycle on the dyno if you have any problems with your cars that happens only at a certian mph. Of course out of the whole thing, the best part of the dyno is the 1/4 mile simulation!! This is a dragracers dream. We put it to the test and all I can say is Watch right click and save HERE
Just to go the extra special route, each car gets its own CD footage of its pulls for free.
