Great Lakes Dragway

Heading up there this coming Friday evening to check out the new stall. If your going, stop by and say hi. Z RATED is my back plate, and I'd like to meet any board members that might be there. Rick

Hopefully sometime in September I will be able to head out there with you. Who installed your converter, Speed? How much did the install run?

I need to put a new clutch in before I head to the drags again. The last time I went (late Oct 2006) my clutch slipped.

$250 for the install, and it wound up Ion stoped by to do his thing about the car not hitting the stall wall and checking the shift points. So it was another $75 for that but included the trans fluid.

That is pretty cool that Ion stopped by. What brought him to the neighborhood?

Speed has used him before, and sometimes he rents dyno time to tune peoples cars. I quess Speed uses him sometimes with the OBD1 stall wall problem. It was nice being able to meet the face behind the screen name. LOL You don't want to go anyways if you don't bring your car, do you? I know your really busy lately.

Yeah, I only plan on going with the Camaro with the Mickey's in the trunk. We are several people short right now which is why I have been working all of my days off. Hopefully, they will have some fresh bodies in here in the next week or two and have them trained in another 4. Then its track time.
