random misfires, too rich bank 1 and too rich bank 2
1999 V6 3800,
been chasing this for a bit, cyln 6 misfire, then a cyln 5, chunk a cyln 3, a few random misfire 300's, and some too rich both banks, done all the normal stuff, was watching it on a scanner, no misfires at idle, during accelaration, hard hammer time, none.....but, revv it hard in a power brake, let off the throttle, several misfires on both cyl 6 and 5 during cycle down time............hmmmmm.
pulled the vacum line from the pressure regulator on the fuel rail. fuel dripped out the vac line.......damn........ bad pressure regulator. send raw fuel into the intake.
is it your problem?, no idea, it was mine have fun, fact done, gone.
