just a few weeks ago my 94, 3.4, A4 started to do this weird idle thing. whenever the car is in park it idles really high, then as soon as i shift out of park it drops back down and is fine again, but when i put it back in park it goes back to idling high again.

has this happend to anyone else? how can fix this? whats it gonna cost me?

Probably has something to do with your torque converter. May check the fluid level. I think my Z does it also. Probably normal seeing how less or more fluid is going through the system.
