Question freeze plugs???

has anyone had to replace their freeze plugs on a 3.4 camaro one of mine started leaking today and it causes my car to run hot it was leaking on the back drivers side and how hard would it be to replace them can you pull the transmission to replace the back one and how many freeze plugs go in the block on these cars
1995 arctic white camaro (dd)
