Unhappy 97 Camaro Coupe MAF Issues

I have a 97 Camaro 6 cyc. coupe which I purchased brand new in 97. It has never been driven in the winter ( I am currently located in New York State) and is in really good condition. I had a code which indicated the MAF sensor. I took the sensor out and cleaned it so it looks brand new. That reset the code for a bit but then the check engine light would come on again, intermittently (ex. off and on three days later then off and so on)and now is on all the time same code. Could this be a wiring harness issue? If so, is this something I can replace. I cannot seem to find a wiring diagram nor any information about how to replace the wiring harness for the MAF nor can I physically "under the hood"...see where the wiring go after they leave the MAF. Any suggestions? Thanks for any help!

Re: 97 Camaro Coupe MAF Issues

Since you have a V6, you'll have better luck getting answers on the "V6 Tech" forum, rather than here on "LT1 Based Engine Tech". I'll move this to the correct forum for you.

To help with solving the problem, what was the specific Pxxxx code you got for the MAF sensor?
