Re: 3800 turbo or supercharger?????
there's a company out there that make a turbo kit for v6 camaros that replaces your muffler with the turbo unit, you then have a second pipe under the car feeding the intake, the kit ofcourse I think runs around $3000 but used kits might be out there by now,
I have never heard of anyone putting a SC on a v6 camaro. Lots of people talk about it but There's only maybe 1 person to actually do it and it was a total custom job with tons of work.
The cheapest route would be to just add a NOS Kit to your car. That would only cost like $700 to have done professionaly and it would be an instant 50 HP.
I think everyone would agree the best bang for the buck thing to do would be to swap for an LS1 either the car or the motor, if you swapped the motor the insurance co would not know, or you could just get one of the pontiacs with the supercharged 3.8.
If I were you, I would forget about performance and get the SS hood first.
