3.8 V6 Labored Start when warm
Hello-
My 00 Firebird with the 3.8 V6 labors hard to start when warm. I pulled the vacuum line off of the FPR and no fuel loss there. I was thinking that was my issue for sure. It is a 90k mile car with mostly original coils, plugs, and wires.
Thinking I would start with plugs first and go from there. Anyone been down this road recently?
I ran into similar issues with an 08 Buick 3.8 that ended up being the ICM that sits under the coils. That one was not getting spark to the bottom coil. This one gets spark to all cylinders.
Working to get this car ready as a daily for my daughter so pretty much going through everything...

Re: 3.8 V6 Labored Start when warm
UPDATE: Pulled vacuum hose off again after car was warm and it was spewing fuel like crazy. I replaced the FPR (after pulling the rail) and car no longer has this issue

Glad you figured it out!
Unfortunately we don't seem to have many active V6 owners on the site any more. I try to answer V6 questions when nobody else is responding, but I just don't know them as well as the V8's.
