3.8 to 3.4 engine swap, newbie.
Bought a 96 3.8L Camaro with a blown up motor, then we went out and bought a 94 3.4L Camaro for the engine. The problem is that we don't know exactly how to swap the 3.4 into the 96. Someone explain the easiest way that we can do this?

The 3.4L engine out of a 93-95 is an OBD1 motor; the 3.8 is an OBD2 motor. Not saying you can't make it work, but you'd really, REALLY be better off with another 3800 from a 96-97 car (or, better yet, an LT1! ).
Also, the 3.4L is a dog. Unless you mod the heck out of it, it's going to take a lot of the fun out of driving a Camaro.

Yes make life easier and get another 3800. You can use a front wheel drive 3800, You just have to swap your intake, accessories, oil filter adapter on the oil pump. Just have patience and set the motors side by side and you'll see what needs to be changed, very easy compared to what you have in mind and very easy to get a hold of a front drive 3800. The only thing I'd strongly recommend changing on the 3800 before putting it back in the car is the rear cover plate/rear main seal gaskets for sure. I had to replace the paper gasket on the back cover plate, it's just like a timing cover but of course you can't replace it without dropping the trans or pulling engine so do it before you put the replacement motor in.
