I guess it depends on your level of skill and level of commitment.
It seems like it's possible. You MIGHT even be able to make the 1994 ECM (Engine Control Module) run the 3.8 motor with some tuning abilities. The 1994 and 1995 ECMs were fully programmable with FLASH based memory.
You will need a bellhousing out of a 95 for the starter location is different on the 3.8.
Possibly need to fabricate motor mounts as well. You will need a flywheel and clutch for a manual 3.8 camaro, but those are available at auto parts stores. The flywheel bolts are longer than flexplate bolts, so you need those too.
It's a big project, but since you have the donor car, the entire ECM and harness can be swapped. The years are so close, it might be plug-and-play as far as connecting the existing body to the new ECM.
If you still have the cars and want to do the swap, I think it's worth it. The 3.8 is a Buick motor and there are more upgrades available for it than the 3.4 in my opinion.
Good Luck! I will help you in any way I can. I'm doing a Swap in my 1994 as well. Perhaps we can help each other?
