GT learns a lesson

So, I'm turning right on Hwy 12 going east. It's a two mile straight freeway, two lanes each direction, CHP patrol constantly. There was an older 5.0 GT (mods with front hood removed) going straight, but sitting at the red light. I give him a little blip on the throttle to tease his senses....

So about 100 yards after I turn, I notice the GT cuts to the right and gets on the freeway to chase me down. He he he.

I let off to about 55 to await his arrival. A couple of cars pull away in the distance. He roars past me at about 70, and I downshift from 4th, to 3rd, and hammer it. I'm on his tail in a nanosecond , hit fourth and wind up with holding partial throttle and await the clearing of a slower car in the right lane. After the clearing, I pull over to the right lane and continue to pull up to his door. I look over as they look at me passing them, I shift into 5th and wave goodbye at about 110.

He was cool and we thumbs-up'd each other. He definitely had a hot car, but he had no idea my car was no longer stock either.
