Re: Camaro z28
Depends on what type of race. But most likely the ls1 as long as it hooks up. Street tires limit the z28. 18" wheels with z rated tires would do the trick. Or drag slicks depending if drag racing?

Re: Camaro z28
Both of you are joking, right? The only thing the Subaru would beat the LS1 in is gas mileage...

Re: Camaro z28
Im not one to have doubt in the z28 but a peppy 4wd im assuming is a mother*** with traction. Like i said depends on what type of race.

Re: Camaro z28
It's a 200HP car with a 0-60 time in the sevens and quarter mile times in the 15's. That wouldn't equate to much competition in my book even on a road course. Whatever the BRZ gained in the turns would be negated in the straights.

Re: Camaro z28
The BRZ is rear wheel drive. Motor Trend's test of a 2013 BRZ Limited 6-speed manual (unchanged for 2014) produced a1/4-mile of 15.0 @ 93 MPH.
Still asking, is the OP or his supporter serious?
FYI, the OP has not been back since he posted the question on the "Podcast" forum and it was moved here. He also posted a single word post on the same forum that was pointless and was deleted. Maybe he had a snow day off from school and didn't have anything better to do.

Re: Camaro z28
BRZ could win in a tight autocross, especially if it has the better driver. If the balance of the race tips from there in any direction that favors acceleration, the Z28 will walk all over it.
