Question Will Sam Strano Springs/Koni shocks ordered for a LT1 work for LS1?

Will Sam Strano Springs/Koni shocks ordered for a LT1 work for LS1?

I found an outstanding deal on a LS1 in the area. I still have my Lt1. Thinking about migrating the springs/ shocks / swaybars (strano bars) off it to the LS1. Is this possible? Do the springs in the front have different weight settings for Lt1/Ls1? Just curious. Thanks!

I'm pretty sure they're different, because the LS1 is quite a bit lighter than the LT1.

Call Strano and ask, though.

Yup, they'll work (for anyone curious).

Define what you mean by "work"? Do you mean they will fit, or do you mean they have the correct spring rates, or both?

I found a thread in a forum (ls1tech?) where Sam himself stated that his springs are the same rate for LT1 / LS1 cars. I can dig it back up if you want, you've assisted me and maybe a million other f-body guys.

Strano does list the same part number for his springs for both the LT1 and LS1 F-Body on his website. He also lists the same part numbers for both LT1 and LS1 Koni Adjustable Sport Shocks (Yellow).
