painting brake calipers
got a 97 camaro, the car is white with orange strips, got whit hubs and want to paint the calipers orange, does anyone see a problem with this? also going to change brake pads all the way around, is the pistons on the calipers the press in or screw? thanks all

It will look nice if done right .. use brake cleaner and a wire brush and scrub let them dry scrub again
wipe clean ....they make spray paint for brake calipers ...but the ceramic brake caliper paint kit that is applied with a brush looks like it would work the best and last the longest ?
have you thought about replacing the oem rotors with Eline cross drilled and sloted rotors $189.00 from ebay??

i used a good amount of brake parts cleaner and one of those composite hard sponge drill attatchments from auto zone to zip off grime etc then again with braken parts cleaner. i applied several coats and let a few minutes in between coats to dry. make sure you let it CURE FOR 24 HOURS!!! or paint will heat back up and melt off. good luck.
