Monroe Struts...Attempting to sell, Need Assistance...

I have 2 Monroe Struts that I have been trying to sell as I do not need them. My wife posted them on craigslist and someone emailed her and told her that they were not for the 1993 - 2002 Camaro as she had them listed. We got this information off of the actual Monroe web site.

Just wanted to know if anyone has used these kind of struts and if they are indeed for the 1993 - 2002 Camaro as listed.

Also, if anyone is interested, I am still selling these. Contact if interested. Pictures of the Struts are posted for reference.

Thanks in advance for any help!!!

Terminology problem? Those look like shock absorbers to me and from here look like the right ones for the years in question. Camaros don't use Macpherson struts, they use A-arm suspensions.

Is there a "shelf" on the barrel for the lower spring seat to rest on? Can't tell from the photo.

This is a stock deCarbon:

Yeah, if you are calling them struts, then that may be causing confusion. They are shocks. (I don't care if you find them listed on the internet somewhere as struts-they are not.)

Sorry, no "shelf" That's all that I got when I ordered them from Advance Auto Part. I had a 94 Z28 Camaro so I bought them, then I traded in my Camaro for a 2001 Z28.

Sorry, for the confusion. I had posted them on craigslist as Shocks not Struts. When I typed up this post I was in a hurry.

They use the same shock configuration. (93-02) There has to be something on the shock body to hold the lower spring perch for them to be the right ones.

By "shelf", I did not mean the lower spring seat, which is removable and would tranfer from the buyer's old shock. There has to be a raised "bump" for the lower spring seat to sit on.... just a ridge around the barrel of the shock.

Same shocks will work on 93-02.

It looks a little like a ridge in the picture.
