Front End Mystery

Hello, all!
New to Z28 and happy to have American Muscle again. (Sold my WRX).

So, new car, lots of work done. Drive it 700 miles home from purchase, started to pull to the left mostly, hits a bump, pulls to the right. Bring it in for alignment after checking tire pressure and shop says I've got a bad inner tie rod, shows me uneven ware pattern on tire, and there is play when shaking the wheel left and right.

Great, get the tools, replace inner tie rod, get it aligned and still pulls!
When I did the tie rod I noticed some slack in the R&P where the tie rod connects, anyone know how to tell if R&P is bad? Are there bushing that can be replaced? Or anyone run into this problem?

Thanks for any insight! - JP
