brake help

Replace my Lt-1 in my 94 camaro with a reman engine seems to be doing great!

But my brakes are on the weak side.

I have fluid coming out rear left and right and driver's front, but nothing out of the other side.

I also have fluid out of abs module.

Anybody with any clues on what to do?

Re: brake help

Depends where the fluid is leaking from. You might need rebuilt calipers if they are corroded and leaking past the piston seals. If it is the bleeders, then you can fix that easy, if it is the lines, you need to be careful doing anything with those - they may be rotted and need replacing. As far as the ABS, it could be coming from a couple of spots - either way, that will be more of a pain in the *** to fix. I don't think there is any brake system stop leak if that's what you're hoping for...

Re: brake help

I am sorry that wasn't clear.

When I said that about fluid I meant when I was bleeding the brake fluid was coming out of the the bleed screw.

My problem is nothing coming out of the bleed screw FP side.

All other 3 brakes are fine and abs module.

Anybody help please going crazy!

Re: brake help

It is probably just rusted shut - try getting new bleeder.

Re: brake help

It wouldn't be uncommon for debris to be stuck in the bleeder screw espicially if the little rubber caps were not on them. Remove the bleeder screw from the caliper and you should get fluid coming out of the caliper. If that is the case replace the bleeder screw. If no fluid comes out of the caliper check for a pinched/ collapsed brake hose.
