Yes, I was wondering the same exact thing. It looks like you'd use the coilover ShockWave bags up front and bags in the rear with your existing control arms or upgrade them to something better. I was hoping if you didnt need F/B/S/S control if you wouldnt need to run an airtank. I'd give them a call. Some guy was running bags on his 91 Z28 I think, try the search feature.

Just by looking around on their site, I see you can use the CoolRide #ARR22400 for the rear. And the Shockwave for the front.

i know it's old but if you guys have any questions feel free to ask. you'll want a 4 way control setup as this will keep air transfer from happening so your car doesn't have a boat like feel through corners.

i love my setup.

About how much would I expect to spend for the complete setup on my 94?

Re: air ride air bag suspension?

well that depends on what your going to use and what brand as well as all the various options so you'd need to be more specific. every company has different prices as well and also installation needs to be considered. if your good with your hands and know how to make things work you could get away with as little as 4-500. if your not 5-6,000 isn't out of the question. the average person will spend 1,000-1,500 for great equipment plus installation, if you just want something to get you by then cheaper obviously.

check out www.ridetech.com to give you an idea of parts and pricing... what you expect out of your setup will also determine what options you'll require.

Re: air ride air bag suspension?

Air ride technology is the only way to do it if you want to do it right the first time. They are more expensive but way worth it. also go with the bigred 4-way airvalve.
Here's their website http://www.ridetech.com

Re: air ride air bag suspension?

i would only recommend the big red valves for vehicles that you wanted to raise faster then 3 sec. the standard ride pro e valves will raise the same car in roughly 4-5 seconds and are half the price. easier to fine tune your suspension with the ride-pro valves as well however the big reds are indeed nice, i have them and love them.

Re: air ride air bag suspension?

First thank you for helping every one with there questions I think you are the only person on this board with an air ride f body. I too have a few questions i hope you can help me with. How much overal weight does an entire set up weigh compared to a stock set up? I hear the ride quality is very comfortable wich is what i am looking for i am tired of getting beaten around. how adjustable is it could you set it up to for weight transfer on a drag strip the adjust it for a road course then change it again to ride home?
