Shop to rebuild steering column in CFL?
I have a loose steering wheel, and I had the dealer tighten and locktite the tilt bolts, but they say the whole column needs to be replaced because it's loose at the junction. The part is discontinued but I can find a new one for $1000. I figure it must be less expensive to buy a spare used column, and have it rebuilt, right?
Any suggestions on where to have it rebuilt locally?
