Post paging mat 383

hey man,
I don't know if you remember me.I'm the kidthat always comes up to corvette masters with eric's 87 vette...we put the superchip in his car and adjusted the fuel pressure some more...and it still bogs like crazy...i set the timing at 6*btdc and installed the chip...set the fuel pressure at 38 psi w/ 24lb injectors and the miniram...I was told to set the fuel pressure at 47 psi!!The car wouldnt even turn over with that much pressure lol...but can u talk to robbie and see if u can get us some dyno time?(preferably before dyno day) so we can sort out some of the issues with his vette..that would be cool.Oh and by the way lol I was talking to this kid at superchips that was raggin on ya...jeff i think? u might wanna have a word with him about that haha...take it easy man.later,
carter

Hey, whats up? It was probably Jim at Superchips. I used to work with him at Discount a few yrs back; if so, he's a fudge packer. Nah, he's ok. Ask him if he's driven through anymore puddles and hydra-locked another motor- haha.
Anyways, as for you guys. I just spent all day dyno tuning my dads L98 after installing 24# inj. I would raise your initial timing to like 8 (with the the ect plug ,or whatever its called, unplugged and go from there). Also on fuel pressure, I sure hope that is without the vacuum hose on the regulator. I don't really know your setup but either way that seems to high. I got a set of 30# FMS inj with 2 dyno pulls and 50 miles on them if you need that much fuel.
I'll talk to Robby on Monday about getting you guys in. It'll be probably Weds at the earliest.

Later
Matt

BTW- meant 47 to high. 37 may be to low to get good fuel atomization.
But I'd talk to Robby, he knows way more than me (Obviously)
