Update on the 1957z28

Well,
The body is now kinda strait. Primer, sand, Primer, sand, etc...
I cut out the cowling so the sheet metal intake will fit, and cracked the windshield (DUH), so when the glassman showed up and removed the glass...
We found RUST...
So this past weekend I used / welded a roll of MIG wire fixing the area between the top of the windshield, and the T Tops.
The sheet metal Intake is still not finished, but I found some NOS Nozzels
The foggers that go under the injectors.

Roll Cage complete

Update...
The 10 pt. cage is now complete.
All the joints were TIG welded, the plates were MIGed...
Pictures soon to be posted. (Paint needs to be done before surface rust...)

1957z28 Update

The dash is complete, and the windshield was installed last night!
The base white paint, I'll spray this weekend!!!
Then the weeks of mid-coats of pearl, Ghost flames, etc...

The 2010 Turkey Rod Run, is "Just around the corner"
