Hmm, perhaps there's something in my browser configuration that filters these...

Re: and so it begins!

I've seen a few mustang ads, but nothing recently. Maybe Shock is right and it depends on what browser/filters are in effect?

Login to the site and you won't see them. BTW, these started before IB acquired the site.

I have never seen them, because I'm never not logged into the site. Well except the one time after someone posted that I logged out just to take a look.

Re: and so it begins!

Looks like the ads are expanding to the left side of the page now and are randomly shown below/within posts

It's fine if they do not appear when you're logged in (and you keep your internet browser open), but most of the time I just lurk on here and it's a PITA to have to log in. There are a few message boards I lurk on and it would get old REAL quick having to sign into everyone of them each time I visit just to prevent seeing ads.

Looks like CZ28 is going to be ad whored just as bad as ls1gto.

It's what pays the bills. I doubt very many people would want to cough up their share of what it really costs to run a site like this to keep it ad free.

The types of ads have certainly gotten more annoying. Now I have to see ads for Zoosk here, too.
