post count question... never thought of this

would it be possible to have dual post counts?

there would be one for all the areas that already count towards post and then a separate one that's lounge posts or something?

i have no idea if it's even possible to do that but it just popped into my head. it'd be kind of neat.

i'm not bitching about posts not counting there since i'm not concerned with post counts. like i said, this idea just popped into my head for some reason.

I don't know how to do that, but it is a neat idea.

I think that'd be a cool idea. I was wondering myself if there was any way to tell how many posts you would have if you counted the lounge posts. I guess it's logged somewhere. I'm just curious how many posts I have in there.

It's just a curiosity thing for the most part.

I've often wondered why posts in this forum don't add to the total.

Yeah, I understand the lounge, but I mean in this Site Help section.

I have been wondering this for a while.

like.

have posts: #

lounge posts: #
or
off-topic posts: #

that would be pretty cool.

IMO, if you care - keep a piece of paper next to your computer and make a mark on it whenever you post in the lounge, etc.

Guys, if you could post the same word over and over again and it would raise your post count would it really matter? No. Content is what builds status here.
