I've noticed lately (over the last couple months) that the site seems to be running slower. Pages, threads, etc. are taking longer to load. Sometimes they will hang with nothing more than the banner showing for a while and then the rest of the page will load. There have also been times where the pages just won't load at all for several minutes. I thought it might just be my computer, but other sites load instantly. Is there a lot more media on the site that's causing it to bog down?


Edit: Today seems to be especially bad. Several times after hitting the "Post" button, this thread included, almost a minute goes by between the time I click "post" and when the page loads up with my reply.

I'd assume we see more traffic due to the recent information being released from GM on the 2010 Camaro and lots of people are coming over here to read it.

camaroz28 was the 4th result on google for "camaro" as well as "2010 camaro"

only slowdown I've seen is that LT1 tech is dead lately.

It's been going pretty well for me the last two days, but it was awfully slow on the day I made this thread and for the days leading up to it.

Its been slow for me too for a while, at least a couple of months. It loads faster since I upgraded to Firefox 3.
