Z-12 on my t-tops, check it out.

I finally got around to using some Z-12 on my t-tops (thanks Kevin!). Check it out, wait till the page loads so you see the bottom of the picture:

These water spots were hard as heck to take care of. What I did was use some Mequiar's soft gel wash to get the dirt and grime off, then used a clay bar, then applied Z-12. For the really tough spots I used some watered down 0000 steel wool. These aren't the best pics I know, it looks a lot more crystal clear in person.

Thumbs up

Looks great...I have heard of White Vinegar taking off spots....Never tried it myself. Hell I don't even use my Wipers ( Circle stain on windshield) put RainX on there and I am good

Cool

From what I could tell, it looks good and clear! The Z12 is really a great glass polish for restoring mild glass problems, it just needs to be worked in really well for best results.

Z-12 is MUCH MUCH more abrasive than 39009......

39009 wont do much for hard water spots....

Wow those look slick. Is there any chance you can scratch your glass using the Zaino stuff?

The Zaino itself won't scratch your glass, just use some clean 100% towels. The Z-12 may reveal some fine scratches that were already there that the dirt and waterspots could have 'hidden' however.
