What color are OEM Z06 rims?
I got a silver set of aftermarket Z06 rims in the mail yesterday. My goal is to have them the same color as Z06 OEM rims. Is a generic silver such as the ones aftermarket ZO6, ZR1 rims, etc come in the same as OEM Z06 rims?
For some reason in all the pics I look at teh OEM ones seem to be quite dark and I can tell if its the lighting or just the quality of the picture...
Can any help or clear this up?

I think they are more gunmetal than anthracite, because anthracite is almost black, but the z06 wheels are definately darker than conventional silver

Unless I have been sorely mis-informed, they are Gun Metal Gray.

Careful, there are TWO variations of the color on Z06 wheels, depening on year. I belive the first year they were darker than the later years. I wish I had more specific info on the exact colors, but that is all I know.

Yep, really. I was looking for the paint code myself at Corvette forum.com after buying a set of Z06 wheels. That is where I learned about it. It was a few months ago. Go try a search there and see what you can find now, it is not a bad site.

Re: What color are OEM Z06 rims?
Was there ever any verification on the official color or if there in fact where different colors for each year? For example which are on the GMMG's ZL1? I never knew there were different shades, although now that I think of it some looked real dark and others more grey.
