Help with Clutch Replacement
Hey guys,
Been a loooooonnnnggg time since I posted on here. Car has been sitting in storage for the last 6 years. At any rate the clutch was slipping really bad before I put her away and now it's gone completely. I pulled the trans to inspect and my clutch disc has just crumbled. At any rate I am ordering a new stage 3+ pressure plate and curious as to whether or not you guys think my flywheel is garbage. I had to store the car at a buddy's due to some hardships and I think he might have put it through the ringer before locking it up for the time. Anyrate, car dyno'd at like 385 to the rear wheels before I had the heads polished. Not sure what she makes now. Here are some pics of the flywheel and the car. It may be going up for sale as well. I live in LA now and just don't have a place for this kind of a car. Not to mention the Detroit setup would be so illegal out here!

Re: Help with Clutch Replacement
I'd say that whole clutch assy looks toast.
If it only makes 385 to the tire, maybe get a C6 zo6 clutch for it?
they hold 505 flywheel hp, and the 470 tq from the 7.0l just fine. usually around 450 rwhp?
I know at one time they were fairly inexpensive. but maybe not so much anymore.
Here is a good writeup on the basic info:

I was assuming so but appreciate the advice. I guess I forgot to think about factory set ups. The last time I was driving this thing the z06 was still at 405hp! At any rate found a few setups for $500 including the flywheel. Beats spending $800 for the spec stuff. Thanks again.
