what turbo
what turbo would you reccomend for a single turbo set up on a lt1

No reason to go any bigger than the T60 hifi with a stock motor unless you plan on melting pistons pretty soon.

How much hp do you want. 60-1 hifi is a starting point but it all depends on how much hp though.

I would only go w/ a 60-1 Hi fi if you are pretty much stock.

is there any other turbos that are right around the same size or a bit smaller, i am having a hard time finding used 60-1 hifi's. any other ideas,, maybee something internally wastegated

You might be able to use a holset hx40 or hx50. I saw an hx50 for sale on one of the turbomuttstang sites.
