I need to know the bulb number for the high brake light in the back window.

Man, I hope someone can provide this, I would like to know myself.

 

I want to replace my high brake lamp with a flasher to help keep the tailgaters off my ***. Maybe I'll have to tear it open and have a look.

 

Its not a bulb persay . Its a string of leds daisy chained on a circuit board and covered with a plated bezel . In other words , if you dont know how to source the type of led used and understand how to de-solder and solder , this is not a serviceable part and youll have to order a new circuit assembly from GM . If u understand how to wire leds and understand basic circuits you can make it do what ever u want .

 

I'm a EE, so that's no problem. So, since it's not a simple bulb swap, we need an inline 1 shot time that connects without cutting the harness.

...Since time is a luxury I'm in short supply of, SOMEONE must make something like this already!

 

So...changing the CHMSL bulb is not like it used to be, eh?

 

That would be a definate negative
