Hmmm, this is big.... never thought I'd see the day when a manual would be in Buick again. What??! Is that the end of the tunnel way, way off there in the distance?

It is like Saturn, Pontiac, and Buick are merging into one brand and it is called Buick.

You think it will come with the flat foot shifting feature that the Cobalt came with?

And if they are merging then it may have been a smart move to have the more expensive Buick stick around from a profit standpoint.

Very cool!

No-lift-shift in a turbo Regal...what if somebody told you 5 years ago that it was coming from Buick?

Yes. And when you include the AWD, the reduced power output starts to make sense. 300hp, AWD, M6, and 3600lb? That could start damaging axles and differentials under warranty. Numb the power down to 210 though and it isnt as dangerous. But all that power and control are still only a quick flash away.

Imagine all the aftermarket for the Cobalt SS starting to pour into a Buick.

Sure the HP is down to 220HP from 260HP in the Cobalts LNF, but did you guys notice the torque is basically the same. This should be a very fun car to drive with the manual.
