Yes, looks like the cooling system. The aftermath is a lot of steam.
I believe that's why it's recommended the liquid glass procedure be done at 2,000 RPM. It allows heat to build, but not such a risk of flying/exploding parts.

Another vote for cooling system. You can see the stream of rust colored radiator fluid hitting the hood. Radiator cap failure or hole in a radiator hose go boom.
