does the amp cool off well in the spare tire like that?? i wanna do that, so u cant see the amp at all,but just wondering how the amp cools.

I have mine underneath my box, which is in the T-Top well. Its an Rockford Fosgate Punch 800.2. I have yet to have an overheating problem with it, even when playing it loud.

I haven't had any problems at all with my amps overheating. One's IN the spare tire and one is behind it, and both work great!

I'm a chick. And I work out of Elgin School Dist U46- I'm sure you've heard of it. Have you checked out the MFBA (midwest Fbody assoc?) www.mfba.org is the address.
