Is there ANY way to find out my build number?
I believe you can find your number if you post your vin over at the SLP website. (www.slpeng.com)
The common misconception... SLP did SS's and Firehawks, up until GM just started making this changes on the assembly line, but they were still marketed as SLP conversions. The WS6 was converted by ASC. If you have a WS6 contact ASC for your build #, if you have a SS or Firehawk contact SLP.
I'd try giving them a call, 734-246-2772.
Also, another website is www.asc-usa.com I doubt it's any different but...

True, GM bought SLP which is why they market them as SLP conversions even though they were built on the line.

ROTFLMAO!
That is absolutely false! GM doesn't own SLP, SLP is it's own seperate company. Why do you think they are making the Ford Thundervolt.
Only the GM SS was built on the "line", SLP optional equipment was done at SLP in Troy Mi. As were all the Firehawks.
Please, don't post misinformation.
