So, I'm driving along m-59 (aka Hall rd) in Michigan in my '98 camaro (pictured on the left). I looked in my right side review mirror and did a double take because there was a new black 5th gen camaro a couple car lenghts back coming up along side of me. As he got closer I saw that it was a 2SS and had white strips on it. It looked awesome. When he got next to me I gave him a thumbs up and he nooded at me and punched it! He only punched it quick because there were cars in front of us, but let me tell you, it sounded sweet. I think as he was driving along and saw my car, he probably was purposely like; hey hun (he was with his wife and kids) which what happens when I pull up next to another Camaro! Anyways, I followed him into the mall parking lot and got to check the car out. Again it was a black w/white strips 2SS automatice w/tapshift. He tried to show me the ambient lighting, but for some reason it wasn't coming on (not sure if it was a switch or actually problem, he had just gotten the car and hadn't played with all the features yet). Oh, and yes this was also a CTF car, which is one of the reasons I followed it to see if it was a CTF or if someone had actually taken delivery. I have seen the other CTF cars around, but this was the first time I saw this car.

And yes I do have pictures of the car, but can not upload them right now where I'm at. I will try and do that tonight when I get home.

My '02 is black w/silver stripes, so OF COURSE I'd like to see a 5th-gen with that colour combo! ... but in the meantime, I'll settle for one w/white stripes .

Pete, OMS in oshawa delivered 2 cars today, orange with black strips and a solid black car both 1SS's
