2010 SS makes less HP than a GXP

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PN2GGzlX0QE&fmt=18 <--- Stock SS dyno 364 rwhp

Stock GXP dyno 371rwhp

FWIW the GXP made 410 rwhp with CAI, Corsa exhaust and tune

The GXP made 351 before being broken in, 371 after. The SS is a bit stronger. I doubt its broken in.

Before this thread gets out of hand. Power seems fine, this is only one dyno and the car isn't really broken in yet. I believe there's more as more people start dynoing. Besides, who knows how much GM is holding back on just the tune? Then you have the intake and exhaust to consider? In the end with boltons the power will be there.

7hp is within allowable tolerances.

Test to test variation, vehicle to vehicle variation, and "green engine" variation makes this post and its dramatic intentions useless and irrelevant.

I'd like to know if that actual car has run the 1/4 and if so what did it trap at. It's probably a press test car.

The early road tests all have the SS in the 110-111mph trap speed so the power is certainly there.
