Avatars
I know its been talked about, but then I remember Jason saying that he didnt want bigass avatars and stuff... but
Ive seen boards that just have certain ones you can select. Also you could send an avatar pic to an admin and if approved, it would be added to the list.
I dont even know what Im suggesting, but just throwing some stuf out I guess.
If this is bad, or has been talked about... somene flame me for this... I havent had a flame in a long long time

That sank into the swamp. So I built a third. That burned down, fell over, then sank into the swamp. But the fourth one stayed up. And that's what you're going to get, Lad, the strongest castle in all of England.

They are probably dying under bandwidth already, no IMG code either. I think spending time at the Vette forums and such it seems like a good idea to avoid it, because people have half page sigs and every thread is just crammed with so many pictures that there is about 3 paragraphs of content for every 5 pages of pictures, which is freaking annoying that you have to wade through so much to actually read anything.

<flame> This a messageboard for auto enthusiasts. If you want silly little pictures under your name go somewhere else. I'll bet you want a bunch of little dancing smilies too. You'd probably choose something stupid for your avatar anyways... Actually, I'll bet $100 that your avatar would be something like this: avatar </flame>
I'm sure when we get the new board version, there is a chance for avatars. It would be cool. Can't have them on this version though I guess.

I'm still undecided as to whether or not the term 'avatar' is too effiminate to use or associate with.
