Congratulations on your order. It is very exciting to order a car exactly how you want it. You're right, the wait is difficult. Ordering a new car is not something most people do very often; although I bought my first new car in 1976, this is only the second time I have ordered a car.
You will have an impressive Camaro collection. As much as I love the 2010 Camaro, I've got to admit the 69 Camaro is my favorite car design. I really like the design of front end, and the squared off rear wheel wells, in comparison to the 2010 Camaro.

I went with the black leather. I do have good news for you though. The gray interior is 2 tone. the seating surfaces are gray, and the sides and back are black. I've seen a few pics on here. You will be very happy with it!

The beige is also two-tone as well. I went with black leather on my VR 2SS/RS as well. I like the beige two-tone, but I am not really sure it would look good ith VR.

Your collection is very impressive. I'm 25 and just have an old '96. I would take a '69 in a heartbeat over a 2010 and you have both
Did you get the car under MSRP? $35,500 sounds real low for a 2SS/RS with stripes and polished wheels??
edit: + taxes...but still low considering the wheels and stripes

Thanks. The 69 is definitely my alltime favorite car. Mine has a lot of sentimental value too because my father and I built it together. Theres nothing wrong with a 96. No matter what Camaro you have its still something special compared to what else is on the road. They look great, the run well, they are tons of fun. No matter what year of Camaro I see on the road it stands out as something unique to me.
As for the price I got mine at about $800 under sticker. I believe that the sticker worked out to like $36,290. I had to search for months to find a dealer that would deal. Just about everybody is after sticker, if not more. Even though I'm getting a pretty good deal its still tough to spend that kind of money. This will be the most money that I have ever spent. But its a Camaro, its worth it!

I actually had one here tell me that "...right now is commanding a $10,000 premium over" which is where I hung up the phone on him. No one else believes that anyone offered the car to me at MSRP and will honor any incentives and discounts available. Oh well....guess they'll see when I have it shipped in to them from another dealer.

I've heard the same thing. Some dealers fail to realize the following that this car has, and refuse to accept that we know more about it than they do, so they try to gouge. I got mine for $800 under sticker, and like you my dealer will honor any incentives when the car arrives, hopefully in June!

My dealer as well will offer whatever is available. Does anyone know if any
incentives/discounts/financing deals will be offered by GM?

I was told that supplier pricing was listed in the order software, but it's still not on any of the GM websites.
