If true, thats great! Yes, the RT Challenger comes in a grand less, but I think the Camaro is the better value!

Prices seem pretty much as expected. Just now need to know how much it is added when you select the RS package.

As well as the 2SS package. I think the 2SS will be no more than $2K more, RS about $500 - $700.

So is this the big announcement from the podcast tomorrow morning, or is there something else?

31 grand for a no option 1SS? Hmmm, I wonder what a loaded 2SS will be?
Edit:I guess that's about right, I was suprised to see how much Mustangs are these days. Of course, no one is paying sticker, so the price disparity will be even greater. I hope that doesn't put too much of a dent in Camaro sales. I would expect to pay about 35k for a loaded 2SS, beware.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and assume that's the big news we were all waiting to hear on the podcast. Guess we'll all sleep a little better than the folks waiting till morning.
Camaro SS, priced at $30,995: $77.50 per horse of power.
Mustang GT, priced at $26,425: $88.08 per horse.
You're welcome for the obscure horsepower-to-value statistic. Looks like I just might be hitting up the dealership tomorrow.

Almost $23k for the BASE model? I know I could go out and get a BASE mustang for $20k. That's a $3k or 15% price difference, 3 times more than the $1k or 5% hinted at. Unless they expect the price of the mustang to come up $2k before they start selling these...

Yuck, why would you compare the two,for 3K grand more, you IRS,6speeds and 90 more HP with a 4 cam caddy engine compared to a truck engine.............................3K seems pretty reasonable.

Yeah, maybe you should be making your comparison to the base 300hp Mustang...
