Camaro V6 Exhaust Sound
I really like what I am reading about the tuning of the exhaust for the base V6 car. I've read several articles saying that the engineers were going for a Infinity G35 Coupe type of sound. It really shows how much time they are spending on the details of this car.
Our '08 Pontiac Torrent GXP has good sounding exhaust, nice and throaty when you get on it, but really quiet on the intersate. The Torrent GXP uses a non-DI 3.6L V6 w/265hp. It has dual exhaust that runs down into a single muffler, with dual outlets.
I made a short video of the Torrent GXP exhaust, I wonder how it will compare to the Camaro.

By all accounts it already sounds great, and we haven't heard the final production system yet. They did point out in the Indy presentation that the V6 is a tough balance. It has to be quiet enough that it doesn't annoy less enthusiast drivers, but loud enough for those guys graduating from a Civic SI.

Imports...
This V6 better not sound like a suped up civic though....I am buying this V6 in hopes that it delivers the American performance and sound I crave. Its going to give off a nice little rumble right?

Bottom line, the V6 will be a very good performer, but if your looking for a V8 rumble,
your going to be disappointed. Not saying that anyone is, but IF you are it just ain't gonna happen on a V6. Having said that, the V6 is going to be a tremendous engine
IMHO.

That sounds a LOT better than the other video I heard of the car. I think they did a good job.
