Not a bad looking car, but I agree.. Not worth Camo'ing..
Ahahaha..
Looks like the same darn car.. Look what we've started w/ this 2010 concept stuff!!!

Are you sure that that's a Mustang? It doesn't look like any Mustang I've ever seen. It's such a daring departure from the current Mustang design. Kudos to Ford for being willing to take such a risk.
/end sarcasm.
I like it, but it seems that it has been overhyped as a new generation, when it's clearly more of a refinement of the current gen.

why did they bother camouflaging this? oh, right - to make us think they actually did something worth keeping under wraps.
actually, now that i think about it, they should just keep this under wraps - permanently.

Seems like the usual chatter of fans, antagonists, and people more intrested in attempting to show how funny they are aren't than adding something useful.
Again, the 2010 Mustang is a reskinning that was initially supposed to come later and be more involved. Thanks to Camaro, the redesign was moved ahead and and downgraded to a reskin, new interior, and upgraded more powerful engines. The revised Mustang will now come later and it's revision will be far more involved than the one that was supposed to come in 2011-2012 timeframe.
Here's a teaser picture showing a new, seemingly '71-'73 Mustang-like character line and new "hip" creases on the new Mustang.

This car design was shown to a privy few at the same car show that the Camaro Coupe concept was first unveiled to the public.
It's been locked in that long.
Minor changes here and there, but overall it was meant to be a refresh to the current very successful style.
Every panel is changed, but you won't really see it until its unveiled, but it DOES keep with the same look as the current car.
It's way more refined and streamlined, yet more aggressive.
Just like usual, people will blast it for various reasons... and most will warm to it.
Happens EVERY time.
Same thing will happen with the Camaro.
But you can't please everyone

I'm digging the new 'character line'. It looks alot more like a '67-'68 to me than an early 70's, especially with the 'hips', which I have no doubt Ford was shooting for the '68, ala Bullitt. I haven't read much discussion of it on the Mustang boards, they are more worried about the gas cap I guess.
I'm so tired of modern cars with the slab sides and no visible contrasts in the body itself, I'm encouraged by a character line appearing this bold....I can't wait to see what it looks like as a whole.

It's too close the current model for me to get excited over. The new power plants are great news, but I hope that they seriously address the issues of the interior, which in my opinion, is one of the worst I've ever been in.
I like the current Mustang, a lot. Just spent a week with one as a rental car (V6 coupe / 5A, as I've had in the past). Co-worker had the same car but as a convertible. I LOVED the convertible (obviously not the fact that it had a V6, but the car overall).
Even with the current interior I could happily drive one. The new interior seems to be an improvement while keeping the theme of the current car very much intact.
We managed to have 3 or 4 adults in the car, coupe and convertible, on a number of occasions. Getting into the back seat was a chore, but once back there, most seemed to think it was actually pretty decent. I'm sure I would not have fit (I'm a long-torsoed 6'2"), but they were still surprisingly useful.
If the new one closes the gap between the Mustang and the Camaro in terms of performance (i.e. something in the 350-400 hp range)...
The convertible was great. The windshield is not raked as steeply as in a 4th gen F-car convertible, so it doesn't feel quite as claustrophobic. I miss my convertible dearly ('90 Miata). I could easily see a 4th gen Z28 convertible or a current gen Mustang GT convertible in my garage some day (if I don't end up with another Miata, into which I'd love to transplant an LS1 or LS2...).

Totally agree . Im not a huge fan of the current , its ok ...but . The refinements go a long ways for the 2010 imo. Gotta chuckle a little at the mustang cowl induction hood ...I think it looks good but convieniently appeared as the Camaro has one too . The 2010 should be pretty sweet .
I've always really liked the current-gen Mustang. I really appreciated the high doors and long, arcing hood that met a full-size bumper and grille in an era of cars with hoods sloping into the ground and long, stretched headlights.
I think the new Mustang design/refresh looks good....but...Ack! No chrome, please. I've never understood the obsession with chrome on interior pieces. Belt strips on doors, and window surrounds--yes, on luxury cars. Certain types of wheels, yes. But plastic chrome accents on the instrument panel, shift ****, console, etc...
